Grand Theft Auto 5 with xCloud support, returns to Xbox Game Pass: Examine the specifics

After a two-year hiatus, Grand Theft Auto 5 is returning to Xbox Game Pass subscribers. GTA 5 will be available to Game Pass subscribers on Xbox consoles at no additional cost. The game will be released on April 8 and will be available to Xbox Cloud Gaming/xCloud members as well. The game was first released in 2013.

GTA 5 was available as part of the Game Pass subscription before it was replaced by Red Dead Redemption 2 two years ago. The game’s return to the Game Pass indicates that both Microsoft and Rockstar anticipate increased demand for GTA 5 around the world. GTA 5 will not be available to Game Pass subscribers on PC.

Grand Theft Auto 5 is making a comeback on Xbox Game Pass.

The subscription will provide access to Grand Theft Auto 5 as well as Grand Theft Auto Online, which is already a cash cow for Rockstar Games. GTA Online continues to receive new modes and content, both of which have contributed to the game’s thriving community.

If you have an Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscription, you’ll be able to play GTA 5 on xCloud. Support for xCloud games brings with it the opportunity to play using a mobile device’s touch controls. Please keep in mind that Xbox Cloud Gaming/ xCloud is now only available for Android devices, but it will be available for iOS and Windows devices soon.

In addition, the Xbox Game Pass also includes over 50 new games with touch controls for handheld devices. “In September, we were ecstatic to release Minecraft Dungeons, our first game with Xbox touch controls. Touch controls have remained one of the most demanded features for cloud gaming since then, allowing you to play in new ways on your Android mobile devices without the use of an external controller,” Microsoft writes in a blog post.

“In addition to Minecraft Dungeons, Xbox touch controls are available in Sea of Thieves, Gears 5, Dragon Quest XI: Echoes of an Elusive Age, Slay the Spire, and a number of other games,” the article continues.

Along with Grand Theft Auto 5, Game Pass subscribers can have access to games like Zombie Army 4: Dead War (for Console, Cloud, and PC), Disneyland Adventures (Cloud), Rush: A Disney/Pixar Adventure (Cloud), NHL 21 (Console), EA Play Rain on Your Parade (Cloud, Console, and PC), Pathway (PC), and MLB The Show 21 (for Console, Cloud, and PC) (Cloud and Console).
